using sidecar with cable

Any problems with using a USB C cable from iPad to your Mac USB C port when using sidecar??? It will recognize ok..???

You can use Sidecar wirelessly. This is the usual way.

But if you need to keep your iPad charged during use, connect it directly to your Mac with the USB charge cable that came with your iPad.

I don't want wireless.I want to use a USB C cable from my Mac to the iPad....the charging would be an
additional bonus..

You don't have to. Just read the Apple link I gave you and, indeed, you can use this facility by direct USB connection.

The link gives you all the conditions you need to meet for Sidecar; then goes on to tell you the various ways this can be achieved. It's all there - everything you need to know.
