Hi i got warfcraft 3 the frozen throne for pc and i wanted to run it in osx so i bought this program crossover 8 pro but when i try run the exe it goes into a window with a white screen and starts playing the music from the intro movie, but i see nothing and i can't use my keyboard to skip it or anything. I've waited till the end of the movie to see if it goes into the menu but the screen just remains white... so i have no clue what to do, Does anyone know how to fix this or if u can fix it??

(PS I dont have the discs at the moment to install it, i jsut have the folder. I ran steam by just copying over the folder that that worked fine but war3 does work and i wanna get it to work on crossover so i dont have to reboot into bootcamp everything time i want to play some dota! lol)

thanks for the help

If you are missing necessary files from when you copied the files over, you are probably going to need the discs, unless you can find and copy over the missing files, which I don't know where they are.

Since you are missing the install discs to begin with, it would have been much cheaper to buy the Warcraft 3 Warchest, than to buy Crossover Pro.

I'm pretty sure i'm not missing any files because it works in my bootcamp windows. I bought crossover to use some other programs too like steam and notepad++ etc on osx. So i was just wondering if maybe anyone knows anything about crossover, is there maybe a bottle setting or something i need to set? cuz steam works perfectly when i just copied the folder over :/

Warcraft 3 Frozen Thrones runs natively under OSX. Blizzard made a launcher for all there games like Starcraft and Diablo to run natively under OSX. Just Google it.

EDIT: I just reread your post, you'll need to get the CDs because it will not run under Crossover because your missing the registry information. Also, if you have the CD Keys, you can go under battle.net, make yourself an account and then put in your CD Keys and you can download the game files from the site.
