I often get warnings when trying to install fonts into my macbook pro which has Yosemite OS. Sometimes it says one minor problem proceed with caution but I usually don't proceed.

Is it safe to go ahead and install the font anyway? Examples are korean calligraphy and Dancing Script which give this minor warning.

If Font Book is telling you there are problems, I wouldn't install them.
Normally .otf and .ttf are fine.

I just installed the Korean Calligraphy font and got the same warning that there may be a minor problem. No problem that I can determine. As far as I can see the font is safe to use. Font files can not contain malware or hurt your system, so it should be safe to go ahead and install them. The minor warning may be because of some anomaly with the font. Try it out with your word processor and if it doesn't show up right, remove it.

I just tested the Korean Calligraphy font in Pages. The font works OK as long as you don't have to make capital letters. Nothing but lower case only which make the font pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for checking it out. I often get this minor warning from Font Book but if I can't get into any problem installing the font I'll go ahead in future and install it. I installed Korean Calligraphy and tried it out in an empty file in PS and it looked fine to me.

I assumed it was only a lower case font but I often use lower case only, especially on my signature for my photos so I went ahead and installed it. Thanks for checking it out.
