Both my iPhone and my Apple Watch have been regularly asking to allow precise location for weather app and widgets.

I have Reset Location Preferences, turned both devices off and on, approved requests on iPhone and AW without any success.

I know this has happened before after iOS an AW updates but this has been going on for weeks now. There doesn't seem to have been any specific fix for other instances that I haven't tried. I just keep thinking it will just stop but it hasn't so far.

Has anyone had and fixed this issue?

Are you referring to Apple iOS and watchOS Weather app?

I haven't experienced this issue. I do use the "Always" Location setting for my Weather app on my iPhone and my Apple Watch is set to 'Mirror" my iPhone.

Yes, I and I use the "Always" setting and mirror my phone. Obviously I've tried other configurations/setting in an attempt to "fix" it but that's how I normally have it and that's how it is now.

Well, I seem to have fixed it although in a rather unorthodox way.
As part of my attempts to fix this annoying issue, it was getting to the point that every second or third time I looked at my watch I would have a notification for allowing Weather and Widgets to use my precise location, I did uninstall the Weather app and reinstalled it, resetting the Location preferences each time. Still with no success.
So, I uninstalled Weather again and downloaded Carrot Weather. I did have this app before but I had already deleted all weather apps in an attempt to fix the native weather app.
Now Carrot Weather is the only weather app I have. Set up with the same permissions as the Apple Weather app and no more notifications. 🤷🏻 Watch complications, iPhone app, precise location, widgets all working as intended.
I get the impression that Apple Weather doesn't work so well in the Southern Hemisphere, especially on a small island like Bali which is why I haven't put much faith in it here although it works "okay" in Australia.
Carrot on the other hand has the option to use 8 different data sources around the world as well as local weather stations. It would be easy to think that with it's humorous audio feed back and cartoon like display it's not a serious weather app but I would have to disagree, it's about the most accurate and informative app I've been able to find and I think I've tried them all.
