whisper transcription ISSUE

i used it for recording and transcription - now i can't find my few day old recordings.

Were you able to find recordings in the past and they're suddenly missing or something else? Since this is a very app-specific question, folks who use the app can provide help, but others don't have context.

If things were working OK and then no longer, see if you can figure out what you are doing different now than before.

Which Mac - Model, Year, Operating System, please?

As regards "Recording" - are you using inbuilt apps to do this or are you using outside apps?

EDIT: Ah, okay, didn't pick up on Whisper etc. But I still think that more info would help.

Assuming you save them, have you tried using a search using Spotlight or Find Any File.

For the latter FAF, if you don't remember the name you gave it when saving, you can search by created or modified date when you might have last used it.
