"Windows Support Software not Available"

I am trying to use bootcamp to install windows 7 on my macbook. After opening Boot Camp Assistant and selecting "Download the Windows Support Software for this Mac" it attempts to download the support software but after a few minutes get the error shown in the attached image.

I cannot select the other option as I dont have the install discs that came with my computer.

I ame using a Macbook2,1 running OSX 10.6.8.

Any ideas?
