The X social media app will not work on my MacBook Air running Sequoia and my 27" Macintosh running Sonoma. I've downloaded the X App from the App Store on both machines and when I open the app, on both machines, I get an error "Ops, something went wrong". And when someone emails me a link to an X video on post I get these error message. (X works fine on my iPhone). Is Apple not allowing X on the Mac OS?

The X app listed in the store is the iOS or iPadOS version. I didn't see one for macOS at all. There are some iPhone/iPad apps that do run on the Mx Macs, but my experience is that soem don't run well.

I don't think it's that X is not "allowed" on the Mac as much as it is that X doesn't have a dedicated macOS app. I guess the thinking from X is that you can just use a browser to go to X directly. That's what I do.
