I recently purchased a new iMac & transferred my files and apps from my old iMac which was running 10.6.8.
I didn't know Adobe CS2 would not run on the new system. I'm wondering what the best way to remove the programs would be? I appreciate any help...

Thanks

The main reason CS2 will not run is from Lion and up they took out Rosetta which gave 10.6 Snow Leopard support for older Power PC apps via Emulation.

Let me search for how to uninstall CS2. Been a long time. There might be an uninstaller but I have a feeling that will no longer work in 10.8 either.

I'm sure that CS2 has been completely disabled by the system since as Dennis stated "Rosetta" is gone. You can just go ahead and remove what you can find manually. As Dennis again stated, the uninstaller for CS2 is not going to work. There is a possibility that Adobe may have a universal uninstaller that will work.

The uninstaller would not launch and I was thinking that I would have to do this manually. I just thought I would throw out the question & see if someone had a better idea in hopes that it wouldn't leave useless files on the computer. I'll check for an Adobe universal uninstaller.

Thanks for the suggestions

Hope you find that helpful. I figured Adobe would litter the hard drive with files everywhere.
