Hi, My iphone, ipad and MacBook Air are all named separately and differently. When I use airdrop my name is used for all devices. Any ideas how I can have the device name used for airdrop? Just to confirm, my devices are all named. I have gone to the device name and changed the name of all devices. The device name is properly displayed for bluetooth. When I use airdrop my name is used an all devices instead of the device name. Please help, frustration level high.

You won't see the device name, you will see the Photo and name associated with the Apple ID, with the specific device listed underneath. At least that is what I see when I try to Airdrop from my Mac Mini, to my iPhone.
