Is there an application that can combine multipliable pdf files in to one file/document? I have scanned several images and want to place them into one pdf document.

I know Adobe Acrobat Professional can do it. You open the first pdf file and then somewhere in the menubar Document -> you can choose Insert Pages... (Command + Shift + I) and you set them in the order you want them.

I was hoping I would not have to purchase Adobe Acrobat Professional. But It appears that I may have to put that on my software list and with the software that needs to be updated to run on Leopard.

True. There are known issues with Leopard and Acrobat: Adobe promises an update for compatibility in early 2008.

Just going through old bookmarks of mine and stumbled upon Stone Design's PStill.

I looked but could not find if it is Leopard compatible or if it is Universal Binary code: maybe you could email the developer, Andrew Stone? infoATstone.com).

Not too expensive either. What's cool about buying Stone Design software is that your licence is good for life, no upgrade fees.

Its just a two minutes job with Automator.
Open Automator
Create a work flow by adding the following items.
Finder > Get Specified Finder Items
PDF > Combine PDF Pages
Finder > Move Finder Items

Now, save the Workflow and run it. Make sure to check "Show action when run". You can drop the input fines in any order you like.
