New iMac and chrome browser.

Just got my new iMac yesterday and I am in the process of setting it up. I'm still using my 2019 iMac, which is ear-marked for one of my grand children.

I have a strong preference for the Chrome browser rather than Apple's Safari. However, when trying to download Chrome on the new machine, the response is that Chrome is not useable on it and can't get downloaded. The new machine O/S is Sequoia 15.1, while the old iMac O/S is 15.0.1.

Is there any way to get around this issue? I am NOT a fan of Safari and greatly prefer Chrome.
