I finally updated to Sequoia and it slowed everything down..jeez,havent we seen this before???.. anyway my app Piezo popped up and updated also...
this has been a very useful screen audio recorder for mp3 use....but now the audio from Piezo is Very noticeably lower in pitch,ie slower, than it was before...it used to be perfect.. it might be a cheap ploy from the Piezo developer to get me to upgrade to their pro version..sleaze...but I dont know for sure. If it continues I will stop using it.. does anyone know a solution for this..?

You Upgraded from?

This is relevant because when you Upgrade at all, there is a time lag whilst all the apps and background actions in the Mac react to the Upgrade. This process does slow things down a bit.

If your previous OS was not the latest, but some version before, then that again could slow things.

As regards your Piezo app, it is ready for use with Sequoia:

So I can't help you there. Maybe contact them?

My only solution is long winded - import the slowed down audio to Audacity and use the pitch filter to speed it up to what it should be, then save as mp3.
