I'm not being antisemitic, but I would like to know why we have a Jewish yarmulke with a star of David above our profile picture? Is it Hannukah?.

I'm just curious here, but where are you seeing these icons or images if you will?

I just see the normal member's avatars on recent posts. 😉

I'm using 2011 27 inch iMac running 10.9.6 El Capitan and Google Chrome Version 103.0.5060.

Patrick, I’m not certain but I think if you open up your profile under your name in the top row, there is an option which allows flying icons and the like to appear on your pages Relative to the time of year. It’s been going for some time. Many love it, others are less convinced in which case they turn off that option.

These things are seasonal and reflect the time of year.

That is a site setting. Something about Holidays. I don't remember the exact location

Yes. You click on your Name (in my case IWT) and choose Preferences and in the long list is “Holiday Styling”. Tick this to receive such or Untick if you don’t like it.

It's probably there because of Hannukah, which ended yesterday, I think.

As Ian said, click on your name on top right, and choose Preferences. On the right, click on Disable Holiday Styling and you won't get the snow, the spiders and every other holiday related styling that's possible..
